Promotional Printing Tips For Your Business

Buisness
Cards

Promotional printing is necessary for small business owners to promote their business. Promotional printing items may consist of brochures, flyers, business cards or postcards. Promotional items can generate sales leads and gain exposure for a company. Before using promotional printing, there are a couple of items customers must consider.

1. Create an Aesthetic Design

Promotional print items should be visually appealing to attract customers. After reading a promotional item, customers should be compelled to purchase a product or service. Visually appealing promotional print items are typically more effective than promotional print material without any special appeal. Bright colors and high gloss are recommended for print materials. As long as the colors and design are balanced and do not detract from the overall appeal of the promotional print item, the print item will be effective. Every business owner should strive to make their promotional print items as visually appealing as possible for maximum results.

2. Create Compelling Text

Text must contain compelling content. The content must capture the reader and convince them to try the product or service. If the content compels the customer to buy, then the promotional print item is considered effective. The font must also be visually appealing, easy to read and add to the overall appeal of the promotional item. The text conveys what the reader needs to know about the business product or service. Business owners should pay special attention to text or content when creating promotional items.

3. Consider the Paper Quality

The paper quality is also another consideration of promotional print items. High quality print items can make a company appear more professional. The more professional a company appears the more likely customers will do business with the company. High quality paper will also accept the ink better and yield a clearer graphic or image on the page. The overall effect will be more visually appealing than lower quality paper. High quality paper will be more expensive but can be worth the investment with certain clients.

4. Consider the Overall Cost of the Promotional Item

The overall cost of promotional print material will be affected by the quality of paper, the complexity of the graphics and the number for printing. Significant discounts can be offered for companies when ordering in bulk. Companies should consider every item that may affect cost to avoid surprises when the order price is quoted. If the printing company takes the order online, shipping costs should be included in the overall cost of the item.

Consider Promotion Printing for Your Business

Consider promotional printing for your business. Promotional print materials such as brochures can provide a wealth of information about a product or service. A visual can also be included to convince customers of the benefits of the product or service. Promotional printing is effective in marketing.

Three Reasons Why I Use Promotional Water Bottles To Promote My Business

www.PsPrint.com

In this difficult economic environment, small businesses are looking for more cost-effective ways to get the word out about their products and services. One of these cost-effective ways involves the use of promotional water bottles in advertising. Promotional water bottles are bottles that have your business logo and contact information either engraved on the bottle, or imprinted on an adhesive label that is attached to the bottle. They work great if you use them properly. In this article, I will discuss three reasons why I like to use promotional water bottles for my business.

Water Bottles Are Used A Lot In Public

Water bottles are being used more and more as people are constantly on the go at their jobs, and when dealing with family obligations. In order to stay hydrated, these busy people carry water bottles with them so that they can drink while they go on about their business. Because of their frequent usage, I like to hand out reusable promotional water bottles at trade shows and to existing customers. These people will then use the bottles in public, where others will see my business logo and phone number on the bottle. If they are in the market for what I have to offer, then they may write down the information on the bottle and give me a call. I’ve gotten quite a bit of business from using this method of advertising.

Promotional Water Bottles Work Better Than Business Cards And Ink Pens

The thing that sets promotional water bottles apart from more traditional promotional items like business cards, is that people have a use for the bottles. If people use the bottles in public, then that translates into more public exposure for my business. The problem with business cards is that the people you give them to will often put them in their wallets and forget about them. Or, they might even get lost or thrown away. Promotional ink pens are reusable for a while, but they’ll run out of ink and end up getting thrown in the trash. Promotional water bottles, on the other hand, can be used indefinitely, so they serve as a longer-lasting form of advertising.

Promotional Water Bottles Are Fairly Economical

Contrary to popular belief, promotional water bottles don’t have to cost a lot of money. You can purchase these bottles with your logo on them for less than $1 apiece in some cases. And, some suppliers only require a minimum of 75 bottles in order to get the best available pricing. Just like the window privacy film that I installed a while back, promotional water bottles have always worked for me from a risk and reward standpoint.

Cost-effectiveness, frequent public usage, and advantages over business cards are three of the reasons why I like to use promotional water bottles for my business.

Three Ways in Which You Can Distribute Business Promotional Products

Promotional Products

There are at least three ways in which you can distribute business promotional products. Before proceeding to look at them, we need to point out that many marketers imagine that the hardest part of a promotional campaign is the procurement and branding of promotional products. It is therefore not until they have procured the said business promotional materials and branded them that they find themselves with another challenge in their hands: the challenge of distributing the promotional products. True, given the fact that most of these business promotional products are meant to be given out for free, one is not likely to have challenges getting people willing to take them. The real challenge is in ensuring that you distribute them in a way which ensures you get reasonably good returns on the investment.
Ultimately, the right way to distribute your business promotional products will depend on the type of promotional products in question, and the nature of business being promoted through them. Some of the specific ways in which you can distribute business promotional products include:

Logo Mats

Simply handing them out in the streets. This is a particularly good approach if the promotional products in question are those of a cheap nature- which you can produce in huge numbers and proceed to give out to anyone who cares to stop. Here, we are looking at things like branded pens, branded calendars, logo mats and low-density t-shirts: which can be cost-effectively produced in very large numbers. This promotional approach would be particularly sensible if what you are promoting is a mass market product which almost anyone is bound to have need for at one point or another.

Of course, you need to ensure that the point where you distribute the products is a point with good human traffic flow (and that you have the necessary permissions to use that space for distribution of such stuff). You also need to ensure that the folks you hire for the distribution task are reasonably friendly-looking. Otherwise people will start wondering what the ‘catch’ is, and thus avoid picking up the free stuff. The levels of skepticism in the general public nowadays are just amazing, as you may come to learn the hard way.

Hiring a promotional company to distribute them for you. This is where, for instance, you hire one of those firms which specialize in organizing road-shows to organize one where your stuff is featured. In the process, attendees can be given your promotional products. We even have some road-show organizers who can have people partake of various activities (rapping, dancing, lifting weights and so on), and then distribute your promotional products to the ‘winners.’ The good thing with this approach is in the fact that, if you choose a proper promotional company, they can help you distribute your promotional products in a way which vastly improves the returns on investment.

Distributing the promotional products at the point(s) of sale. This is the situation where you put a basket filled with the promotional products next to your checkout cashier(s), and instruct them to be giving one of these promotional products to anyone who buys your stuff. Seeing that the recipients wouldn’t be using the promotional products in isolation, others around them would still get to see them (and thus get to interact with your brand).

The good thing with this approach, where you distribute business promotional products at checkout points, is in the fact that it gives you an opportunity to ensure that the folks you give free stuff to are people who actually do business with you. It can thus serve as both a promotional program and a ‘customer loyalty rewards’ program.
