The Top 7 Office Games

www.PsPrint.com

There aren’t that many offices out there that will let their employees have a bit of a mess about with some office games after work hours. If you are lucky enough that your employer loves messing about from time to time then why not consider playing some of these office games?

The Office Hurdles

This one is extremely dangerous and is one that involves removing computers and pretty much all equipment from every desk in the office. It can only be done on longer desks and not really smaller, individual desks and pretty much just involves jumping over each desk as fast as possible. You only need to look at the above video to see just how dangerous (and funny) it can be.

Chair Racing

This one is a pure classic and one you simply cannot beat when it comes to office games. Although accidents can happen you will find it a lot harder to break any bones playing this game than trying out the office hurdles. It is safe to say that there is always someone that manages to fall of the chair so make sure you video it!

Jousting

Again it is fair to say that this one isn’t the safest of games to play but is certainly a lot of fun if you ever get the chance to play. All you need for this is a couple of chairs with wheels, two long wooden sticks and perhaps a shield (otherwise it is really going to hurt). All you have to do now is charge at full speed (a push from someone else helps) and you are set!

Office Tennis

This is a great game if you are in cubicles or there is a small back between you and the opposite person and is one of the safest office games you can play. You might even be able to get away with it during working hours if you are really lucky. Simply screw up a b it of paper and hit it to one another with your hands, you can’t get any easier and safer!

Shooting Hoops

This one is of course another very basic office game and it involves an office bin and paper, that’s it! All you need to do is screw up balls of paper and then aim to get them into the bin. Never going to cause any harm and is easier to pretend you are throwing something away so you are never going to be found out by the boss!

Nerf Office Fight

Some people call this the greatest office game of all time and if you have seen some of the  fantastic videos that have appeared online, you can see why! Not only can you buy the basic Nerf gun pistols but there are things such as sniper rifles and even machine guns out there. All of these are of course made of foam so there is never any danger of anyone in the office being hurt but there is always a massive mess to clear up at the end!

The Movie Blu- Tak Game

This game is fantastic simply because it can be played without too much hassle and you don’t have to stop working in order for the game to continue. Simply take a bit of blu tak and shape it into some form of prop from a film, making sure to not make it too obvious. You then have to tell the people participating what year the film is from and away you go! The person that guesses the film is the person that gets to shape the next prop.

The boss will never find out that you are playing the game because you can have quickly destroy the evidence by just screwing the tak into a normal ball!

How to use Beer Pong Tables as a Marketing Medium

www.PsPrint.com

These days, it is common to feel inundated by advertising and marketing. Billboards, TV commercials, radios ads, internet ads, magazines, buses, taxi cabs, stickers, and the likes. Everywhere you look, someone is trying to sell you something. As a company, especially a smaller company, this over saturation of marketing can make effective marketing among ones target demographic a challenging and seemingly daunting task.  The thing that many advertisers lack is creativity. Most advertisers do not connect with their target market and therefore fail to leave an impression. Beer Pong Tables are one effective way of leaving a positive impression with the college age/young professional market. These days you can actually brand a custom beer pong table with your company logo and leave a positive impression on an entire party.  Here is why this is effective:

  1. The game of beer pong is hugely popular: Did you know that 50-80% of 6,000 college students that were surveyed play drinking games, particularly beer pong. Why should you care about that? Lots of people love the game. If you brand the table, you automatically create a positive association.
  2. Beer pong tables are used naturally in social settings. Unlike billboards which are created specifically for advertising, beer pong tables are being used to play on and gather around at parties, bars, bbqs and tailgates regardless of if you brand them or not. Beer pong tables are a portable medium so you receive brand exposure via the table’s natural use in various scenes, which translates to more impressions among a varied crowd.
  3. Beer pong tables are popular because they give people a common interest around which to gather. Not only do the players stand at the table, when you unfold a beer pong table, you naturally draw viewers that want to observe the game, and by default, you’re branding.
  4. Custom Beer Pong Tables are relatively inexpensive. You can customize one of these tables for around $220/table as compared to thousands of dollars on traditional advertising.
